When Allan is kicked to the curb by his wife, his polar-opposite brother, Charlie, takes in him and his son. The three live under the same roof and try to cope with their unavoidable differences. Allan is a neat-freak and a chiropractor while ladies-man Charlie writes jingles and likes to sleep in on weekdays. The son, Jake, finds himself being raised by the two categories kids understand the most: boring and fun-loving.
